Our story

Founded in 2012 by Niko and Anna Vatheuer, Embassy of Bricks and Logs is a contemporary outerwear label with a focus on distinctive silhouettes, modern design and carefully considered details.

Since 2016, our collections have been entirely vegan, combining an animal-free approach with our love for fashion and design.

We create jackets and coats that feel relevant today and beyond, balancing timeless shapes with unexpected details and a character of their own.

Do things differently

Bringing together Niko's more than three decades of experience in fashion and product development and Anna's background as an internationally published fashion photographer, they shaped Embassy of Bricks and Logs around their shared love for fashion, creativity and individuality. What started as a small independent label has grown into an outerwear brand with a clear identity.

We want our jackets to stand out through their design, while staying true to our values and the way we believe fashion should be made.

The goal

We believe that great outerwear starts with a strong design, a distinctive silhouette and an attention to detail. Creating pieces that people genuinely love to wear has always been at the heart of what we do. From there, we look at how we can make thoughtful choices throughout the design and production process, exploring materials and alternatives that align with our values without compromising on the look and feel of our collections.
